Prendere e dare. È questo il cerchio speciale della vita.
Questo fine settimana abbiamo avuto l’onore di portare un evento firmato MLPH al Centro Culturale di Los Cristianos, Tenerife, dedicato alle donne di ÁMATE Asociación de Cáncer de Mama de Tenerife, che ogni giorno combattono con coraggio contro il tumore al seno.
Due anni fa, quando ho ricevuto la mia diagnosi, è stata proprio questa associazione a tendermi la mano: mi ha aiutata a capire, a orientarmi, a non sentirmi sola. Oggi, con gratitudine immensa, ho potuto restituire almeno un po’ di quel sostegno.
Abbiamo creato insieme delle candele profumate, partendo dalle materie prime, dalle note olfattive, dai gesti semplici che si trasformano in bellezza. Per un paio d’ore abbiamo scelto di giocare, di creare, di sorridere—nonostante tutto.
Perché questo è lo spirito giusto.
Quello delle guerriere.

Recibir y dar: ese es el círculo especial de la vida.
Este fin de semana tuvimos el honor de llevar un evento MLPH al Centro Cultural de Los Cristianos, en Tenerife, dedicado a las mujeres de Asociación de Cáncer de Mama de Tenerife, ÁMATE, una asociación que apoya a mujeres que luchan contra el cáncer de mama.
Hace dos años, cuando recibí mi diagnóstico, esta asociación estuvo allí para mí: me ayudaron a comprender, a orientarme, y a no sentirme sola. Hoy, con inmensa gratitud, he podido devolver al menos una parte de lo que recibí.
Juntas creamos velas aromáticas, comenzando con materias primas, notas olfativas y gestos sencillos que se transforman en belleza. Durante un par de horas elegimos jugar, crear, sonreír — a pesar de todo.
Porque ese es el verdadero espíritu.
El espíritu de las guerreras.

To receive and to give — that’s the special circle of life.
This weekend, we had the honor of bringing a MLPH event to the Cultural Center of Los Cristianos, Tenerife, dedicated to the women of Asociación de Cáncer de Mama de Tenerife, ÁMATE, an association that supports women fighting breast cancer.
Two years ago, when I received my diagnosis, this very association was there for me — helping me understand, guiding me, and making sure I didn’t feel alone. Today, with immense gratitude, I was able to give back a little of what I received.
Together, we created scented candles, starting from raw materials, olfactory notes, and simple gestures that turn into beauty. For a couple of hours, we chose to play, to create, to smile — despite everything.
Because that’s the true spirit.
The spirit of warriors.
